Neighbour Connect
Are you willing and able to help out members of your community who may need assistance over the coming weeks?
The Hub is seeking volunteers to help seniors and those who are socially isolated in our local community. There are many elderly and seniors who live alone and don't have a family to help them during this difficult time.
All assistance will adhere to social distancing and hand hygiene to protect everyone involved. Please fill out this short survey to register to help and we will put you in direct contact with residents in your area who request help.
Connect with Your Community
The Darling Range Seniors' Hub is a new initiative being introduced across the City of Kalamunda following on the success of other such community 'Hubs' in Australia and the USA. This exciting new concept is driven by our desire to support our valued senior citizens in continuing to live independently in their own homes and neighbourhoods for as long as possible, as well as possible, and as inexpensively as possible. It provides members with access to trusted and vetted business referrals, volunteer support, social and neighbour connection, and community engagement opportunities. For more details see About Us
“ We would like to acknowledge the practical support and inspiration we have received from the first two Seniors Hubs in Australia, namely the Waverton Hub (NSW) and Connect Victoria Park (WA)”
